Now, I can't post details for many of them, due to their explosive nature. But I will have enough information to remind me of the stories if someone asks me about them.
MINE
1. Kente cloth in D.C. featuring Kweku Amoako and Edward Yankee (2002) (Embarrassingly funny)
2. I scored the winning goal in sudden-death overtime in the 2003 intra-mural football competition final at Wabash College. This was my World Cup final. (Exhilirating)
3. Kofi Ofori-Quaah, my childhood friend, reminded me of the following. I was six and in Class One (First Grade to my American friends). Laura Lamptey kept putting the eraser on the end of her pencil in her nose and making faces. To my six-year-old mind, that was cool as hell; so I tried it with an actual eraser. Didn't work so well. The piece of gum went into my little nostril and wouldn't come out. The more I tried to dig it out, the deeper I pushed it. Alarmed, I burst into tears...
3. Crawfordsville, IN. Summer 2001.
I went into a Subway sandwich shop.
KOBBY:
Hi, I'd like a Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki sandwich, please.
WAITER:
Sure! What kinda bread?
KOBBY:
Sugar bread, please.
WAITER:
Huh?!
KOBBY:
Sugar. Sugar. Sugar bread.
EDWARD YANKEY (rolls on the floor, laughing his ass off)
...I'll continue to update this as stuff comes to me.
FRIENDS'
Apparently, crazy shit happens in my close friends' lives, too:
1. "What's my name, n****?" ...pause... "Ashley"
2. "Kweku, leave the rice for the kids!"
3. As she peeled out of her clothes in his car,
Girl: I usually don't do this.
Guy (thinking): B*****, I'm not your usual guy.
4. 24th October 1999. Fergie turns 18. He's in love with Maame Yaa Minkah and is determined to make his feelings known today! At my house, with Julius and I coaching him, he phones Maame Yaa to disastrous but unforgettable effect. (Embarrassingly funny)

5. Describing about a friend's wedding
"She's trying to have a high-society budget wedding."
